Writing your learning script: Ingraining good and bad behaviours

How to gain more positive skills and unfuck negative mentality (How to level up and train your character part 4)

As a former ABA therapist who is trained and graduated in human behaviour and ABA therapy, psychology.
Rewarding and conditioning good behaviours with desirable rewards can become stale and ineffective.

I.e. Calling our children to table for dinner to be rewarded with foods they like or scolding them if they fail to come when called, does not seem to be winning strategy for obedience nor family time.

As an adult or teenager, we are aware of what makes us unhappy , using pavlov conditioning as an example, we come to realise that we are often stimulated and offered unconscious priming to be accustomed to society, advertising and seek immediate rewards when offered. I.e seeing the sign of MacDonald can make your kid excited, or another example being able to get what you desire when being exposed to an opportunity,…

Breast cancer misdiagnosis and fraud corporations and disney trips

“The chance of having a false positive result after one mammogram ranges from 7 to 12 percent, depending on your age. (Younger women are more likely to have a false positive result.)

Support for breast cancer have been ongoing for several years to help promote and create awareness. This is being done by wearing pink ribbon pin on any garment to show that you accept and support women who are fighting their fight with breast cancer. Likewise, many big corporations channel their support by encouraging their employees to wear the badge on their uniforms. This have also garnered donations in the thousands to breast cancer foundations.

Many women have also gained a new insight from this cause and have increased their knowledge on breast cancer and might opt for breast screening to find out if they are at risk. However, as there are several natural and benign lumps in the female breast, this check up are often at risk of being wrong. Wrong positive result can be especially severe if these doctors are not careful and diagnose them with breast cancer that can not only harm their health with treatment and surgery. This is because many women would remove benign lumps in fear that they might become active cancer tumors.

Accuracy can be increased with more data and better tools and algorithms to formulate breast cancer risk prediction models so that there will be less wrong diagnosis and achieve earlier detection. It is crucial to take note of the high percentage of wrong diagnosis in the medical industry to exercise caution before selecting your doctor and considering a breast cancer checkup.

Many industry also see this as a great promotion exercise such as “hooters”, a bar that employs women that are at times subjugated to being sexualisation in order to appeal to more customers and sell more. By campaigning to “give a hoot” about breast cancer, many men and female alike can see hooters in a positive light, thinking that they care enough about the female, and fail to realise that many bars and pubs sexualise women to sell more. Hooters who was also one of the fraudulent expenditure in the largest charity fraud found.

"There were subscriptions to dating websites, meals at Hooters and purchases at Victoria’s Secret — not to mention jet ski joy rides and couples’ cruises to the Caribbean.

All of it was paid for with the nearly $200 million donated to cancer charities, and was enjoyed by the healthy friends and family members of those running the groups, in what government officials said Tuesday was one of the largest charity fraud cases ever." (link)

Pink bags showing “breast cancer” printing might also be misinterpreted to be supporting non profit organisations and might buy consumer goods and products on the false assumption that they are sharing a part of their profits to these non-profit organisations.

An example of fraud support is found in the following quote: “Some charities use donations to send children with cancer to Disney World,” said Mark Hammond, secretary of state for South Carolina, whose office joined the investigation of the groups in 2012. “In this case, the Children’s Cancer Fund of America used donations to send themselves to Disney World.” (link)
